Maybe you could try clearing the plug-in cache and the blacklist? There's a possibility that Mixbus overlooks the 32-bit versions if you have previously attempted to load the 64-bit versions both versions are the exactly same file name. Mixbus can only load 32-bit versions of these plug-ins. When I attempt to load the 64-bit versions, I get the "cannot read VST info" message. The 32-bit Waves plug-ins are working fine.
#MIXBUS VST FREE WINDOWS 7#
I double-checked your problem yesterday on our Windows 7 machine, and I just checked it again here at the office to be sure. Maybe Mixbus needs more work before it works for Windows?Hello, So far I'm in for less than $50 and can live with going back to Cubase. Maybe Mixbus needs more work before it works for Windows? I just can't believe Harrison has not seen this problem before and cannot offer some potential solutions, so I'm hopeful someone here has been through this and can offer rup what solutions they tried, and what worked, or didn't.
#MIXBUS VST FREE SERIES#
I did try the Modern series from Antress and all of them work. I'm running Windows 7, understand the stereo plugs won't work on mono tracks, etc. Harrison Tech support is one e-mail every 24 hours or so, and all I have from them thus far is Waves works for them. Is anyone else having trouble getting Harrison Mixbus to recognize and load Waves Plugins? Every attempt returns an error message cannot read VST info. I've searched these threads for info but no solution. The EQ and compression are right there on your track strip, but I still want to be able to use a specific third-party compressor, reverb, or delay. We are not sure if you are aware but nexus 3 the VST plugin has just ben released recently from REFX this is going to be a killer VST plugin, its a bit costly but defenitly worth the purchase. So far I like the way this DAW sounds.
